Parent Settings
Tap the settings icon on the home screen and complete the parent check. The settings are grouped into the sections below.
Your Profileβ
- Change Name: changes the name Kidhoot displays and may speak during celebrations.
- Change Age: updates the profile age. It does not lock or pace activities.
- Change Avatar: chooses the character shown beside the child's name.
- Language: changes the language used by the app menus and messages.
Soundβ
- Voice Engine: choose Auto or the optional ElevenLabs service. Auto is recommended and needs no setup.

- Language buttons: choose which exercise languages are offered. At least one must remain selected.
The device's own volume controls determine how loud Kidhoot sounds. See Voice Options for setup and troubleshooting.
Moreβ
- Redo Introduction: repeats the first-time setup. Use it when you want to review or change the main profile choices.
Privacy & Dataβ

- Download my data: saves a copy of locally stored profile, settings, and progress data.
- Delete all my data: permanently removes the profile, progress, badges, settings, downloaded voices, and linked backup data. You must type the confirmation word before deletion.
