Progress, Badges & Levels

Open Settings β†’ View Progress & Stats to see the Parent Dashboard.

Dashboard overview

The overview shows:

  • Mastered: how many activities have been completed out of those currently available
  • Last played: the most recent learning session
  • World Badges: shown after at least one World Badge has been earned

Only activities that have been played or completed appear in the activity list.

Activity cards

Each card can show:

  • Whether the activity is In Progress or Mastered
  • How many times it was played
  • Overall accuracy when answers have been recorded
  • Language flags for completed versions of the activity
  • A globe when its World Badge has been earned

Tap a card for the available detailed results, such as attempts, errors, accuracy, response time, and items that may benefit from more practice. The exact details depend on the activity.

Badges and World Badges

  • Completing an activity earns its animal badge.
  • My Badges on the home screen shows both earned and locked badges.
  • Completing the same supported activity in two enabled languages earns its World Badge.
  • A World Badge stays earned if languages are later turned off.
  • Resetting the activity removes its progress, statistics, animal badge, and World Badge.

Levels and bonus practice

Completing activities moves the child through Kidhoot's levels. Tap the level beside the child's name to see current and future levels.

After an activity, Kidhoot may offer an optional bonus round containing questions that were missed. It can be skipped and does not take away the badge already earned.

Keep progress encouraging

Use the dashboard to notice interests and celebrate effort. A difficult day or a low score is normal for young children.
